The final two qualifying sessions took place here last night and Darren will start the Le Mans 24 Hours in third place in GTE Pro.
“We were all waiting for a big thunderstorm last night but luckily it didn’t arrive until about 3am. It’s a good job it was delayed as the rain that came would have washed us all off the track!”
“I’m happy with third on the grid as it means we are at the sharp end. For sure pole position is always nice to have but we’re pleased to be where we are. The team are busy today preparing the cars for the race while us drivers work our way through a lot of media interviews. Once we are done with those we’ll jump onto scooters for the annual race into town for the Driver’s Parade!”
